Good Morning! Today I thought I would talk about what I eat on a typical day on a paleo based diet using Tropeaka products. I tried Paleo a couple of years ago and LOVED the results. For my kind of schedule and workout regimen it is hard to continue to do every day but I do base my diet around paleo based food/recipes
First up is WATER! It’s so important to keep hydrated throughout the day. I never used to drink enough water until my best friend introduced me to Plant Nanny! It’s basically an app on your phone that makes you keep your plant alive by tracking your water intake. I’ve noticed such a difference with my focus, skin, and workout recovery just by upping my water intake. I now drink around 90 ounces per day
I have a couple go-to breakfast recipes that I will share soon but today I felt like a smoothie bowl. I use Tropeaka products and frozen banana to get the BEST tasting and texture in my bowls! Seriously even better than going to a cafe. For this particular one I use 1.5 frozen bananas, 1 cup almond milk, 1 pitted date, and a spoonful each of Tropeaka Boost, cacao, coconut water powder, and maca powder and then topped with banana, blueberries, and almond butter
If I go to run an errand or an appointment during the day I bring some green tea or my water with me. This lemon flavored one is my fave and how cute is this personalized cup my best friend gave all her bridesmaids!
Lunch time! For my meal prep this week I made honey sriracha turkey meatballs and stir fried zucchini noodles and veggies. Recipe link here. I paired it with a cup of hot lemon ginger tea
I am the queen of snacking and usually around 4 my sweet tooth pops up. I combat these sugar cravings by having lara bars and dried mango on hand. The chocolate chip cookie dough lara bar is to die for! If you haven’t tried it I HIGHLY recommend
I usually have a big cup of fruit when I’m at work with cut up strawberries, grapes, mango, blueberries, apple slices, basically whatever is in season. Today I just felt like an orange and kept sipping water!
Finally for dinner I try to stick to lentils, kidney beans, and some sort of protein. I love the pre marinated salmon from whole foods as an easy dinner. We usually just grill some up with lentils and salad or I will sub in rice when I’m really hungry. Hope you guys enjoyed this post and it gave you some recipe and snack ideas!
