Hey everyone! I wanted to do a quick post on how I stay positive through difficult and stressful times. The truth is there are always going to be times when you are beyond stressed and you have a million things on your plate – job, wedding, blog, wedding, family, wedding LOL just to name a few of mine. You seem to have everything under control but one wrench thrown in can topple the whole balance!
It’s so important to slow down and appreciate everything going on around you. I always try to be grateful for everything I have – my family, my job, my friends and of course my fiancé. Some people take the time to write down a few things they are grateful for that day and I want to incorporate this practice into my daily routine too.
Working in Boston or any city can really wear a person down too. Someone just cut you in line – someone just stood in front of you while you’re trying to cross the street, or you politely hold the door open for someone and they waltz right by you. Take a deep breath and know that it’s not personal. Shake it off and think of something fun and exciting coming up and put a pep back in your step. Finally don’t forget to surround yourself with the people you love and who are supportive and positive themselves. I don’t know what I’d do without my fiancé! He brings me back to earth when I feel like I’m falling apart.
Anyway really quick – this Free People bralette has been all over the ‘gram and for good reason… I love having it peek out of shirts like this cute chambray one. I even wore it for some of our cozy indoor engagement photos last month. Highly recommend these jeans too they are super flattering and the black is so gorgeous! XOXO Tanu
