Hey all this post is going up a little later than I wanted it to but I’ve been so busy wedding planning these past few weeks and trying to be present during the holidays! I have some awesome content coming up though and can’t wait to share with you all! Without further ado here are my best beauty purchases from 2018!
Self Tanning Water Drops Move over messy self-tanners there’s a new sheriff in town! These bronzy glow tanning drops are so great because you just spritz on your skin and rub them in with a tanning mitt. You don’t see any effect at first but over the course of a few hours you get a warm bronze to your skin! There are three different kinds for different skin tones and the best part is they are part of Sephora’s clean range of products! They use clean ingredients like chia seeds and coconut oil instead of weird parabens, etc.
IGK Hair Products I fell in love with IGK products this year – especially this “Hot Girls ” shampoo and this coconut oil gel! Both keep your hair so soft and frizz free and they smell so so good!
Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin & Nails Gummies These Biotin gummies don’t just taste good they are really good for your hair skin and nails! I picked these up at target and have restocked twice on them already! I’ve tried the sugarbear hair gummies which were good too but I seriously noticed a difference in how fast my hair and nails grew once I started taking these daily!
Bioderma I can’t remember if I started using Bioderma last year or this but it is one of my holy grail products!! Normally I’ll take my makeup off with an oil based cleanser (loving tatcha’s right now) but I always noticed if I ran a cotton pad over my face after I still had residual makeup on – until I started using this workhorse! It doesn’t dry your skin out or break it out and gets rid of all the leftover makeup…there is a reason this is loved worldwide! After I use it I’ll cleanse my face again with a normal cleanser and my skin has never looked better!!
Glossier’s Boy Brow I picked up a tube of boy brow when I was in NYC this year. I’ll never forget there was this huge line to get into Glossier’s NYC storefront and my poor fiancé did not want to stand in it. I told him let’s just see how fast it goes…well 45 minutes and a random rain shower later we finally made it inside. He didn’t know what Glossier was then but he won’t forget it now! LOL this product was the best I picked up that day and I use it daily to keep my brows filled in and in place all day! **Tip: buy the brown even if you have black hair – it makes your brows look softer
KKW By Kylie Cosmetics Liquid Matte Lipsticks Technically I bought these last year but I still wear them the most out of all my lip products. The Kylie Cosmetics line used to sell out so fast and be so hard to get a hold of but nowadays most things are in stock! If you haven’t gotten a chance to try her lip products this set has the PERFECT nudes and the matte consistency doesn’t even bother someone like me who normally never wears anything on her lips!
House of Lashes X Sephora Valentina False Lashes 2018 was the year that I started wearing lashes pretty regularly! I thought about getting lash extensions so many times but never went through with them because I’ve heard this pull your real lashes out! I will stick to the glue ons and my lash serum for now! These House of Lashes X Sephora are some of the best I’ve found and look so natural but pretty/glam at the same time. My favorites are the “Valentina”
