Our Wedding Photos

I had so many beautiful details incorporated into my henna – it is typical to have the groom’s name but I also had something special for my matron of honor, the NYC and Boston skylines, and the deathly hallows on my foot!

My brother pulled our adorable ring bearer nephew down the aisle in a wagon on my baby blanket!
And my Matron of Honor made the cutest sign for him!
Find my bridesmaid’s dresses HERE – everyone loved how flattering it was on each person and that they would be able to wear it again to other weddings/parties!

After the Jewish ceremony it was time for the baraat! This is part of the Hindu ceremony where the groom processes with a parade of their family/friends towards the brides home (or altar in this case) in most cases on a horse!

I am SO excited to be sharing some photos of the best days of my life! Jordan and I hosted our Hin-Jew wedding in April in Newport, Rhode Island and we planned a Thursday night get together (casual so me and my bridesmaids could get our henna done), a rehearsal lunch, a sangeet night (think welcome party), and our two ceremonies, lunch, cocktail hour, and reception! I’m sure you all noticed I took a break from blogging because it was just crazy planning all these events! I wanted each to have it’s own feel/theme/favors etc!

These pics are only from the wedding day and I need to give a shoutout to our amazing photographer Ryann Lindsey!! She is so amazing at her craft and I can’t thank her enough! Prior to choosing her as our photographer we flew out to Scottsdale to meet her and get our engagement photos done. I will be sharing those soon since I never got the chance to but let’s just say we were sold! If you are ever in the Scottsdale area book her for a fun shoot! She goes above and beyond to get the best shots

I hope you all enjoyed this peek into our wedding – it was seriously perfect and it was all thanks to our friends, family, and amazing vendors! I will be leaving their names below in case anyone in the MA/Newport area wants to use them for their own wedding! Also in case you are looking for more I posted the our first dance below – we slow danced to Ed Sheeran’s “Tenerife Sea” and then broke into a coreographed Bhangra dance!
