Every time the new year hits I find myself wanting to hit refresh on my wardrobe! Even though its not time yet to shed the sweaters where I live one of the easiest things to update can be your nails. Not all nudes/whites/greys are made alike though so here are my top picks for neutral spring-ready nails.

Best creamy nude: Essie – Topless & Barefoot. This is a barely there beige that is beautiful on any skin tone (bonus: if you want a pink tinge add a layer of Essie sugar daddy – this is actually the exact colors used in the pic with ripped denim jeans above)

Best true nude: OPI – Tiramisu for Two. This one is a little darker than topless and barefoot but is so so beautiful especially when you have long almond or lipstick shape nails

Best creamy white: Essie – Marshmellow. This one takes at least two coats to get rid of the streaks but it comes out in a dreamy milky white which accentuates a good tan

Best true white: OPI – Alpine Snow. I’ll be honest a flat white color isn’t one I tend to go for but I figured I would include this because it goes good with gold jewelry and a tan (see above image). This one is super opaque

Best grey: OPI – I Cannoli Wear OPI. Greys can tend to take you back to fall but stay away from darks and lean towards a blue tint and don’t forget white ripped denim!
